Senior Laravel Developer

Location: Cebu or Manila, Philippines (Remote-first, aligned to Australian business hours – AEST)

Employment Type: Casual / Project-Based (with potential for Part-Time or Full-Time)

The Role

The Senior Laravel Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality backend solutions within the C9 ecosystem. You will work closely with the development team to deliver scalable, secure, and efficient Laravel-based applications while ensuring best practices in coding standards, system architecture, and performance optimization.

Responsibilities:

Develop, maintain, and optimize Laravel-based applications and backend systems
Design and implement RESTful APIs (and GraphQL where applicable)
Manage and optimize database structures using MySQL or PostgreSQL
Implement authentication and authorization systems
Ensure high performance, responsiveness, and security of applications
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver client-focused solutions
Troubleshoot, debug, and enhance existing systems
Maintain version control using Git and follow best coding practices
Contribute to code reviews and uphold development standards
