The Role  

The Azure API Management (APIM) Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, configuring, and maintaining secure and scalable API solutions using Microsoft Azure API Management. You will work within an Agile team to implement API gateways, policies, integrations, security controls, and monitoring solutions, ensuring reliable API delivery that meets client requirements and follows established technical standards. 

Responsibilities: 

· API Development & Management: Design, configure, publish, and maintain APIs using Azure API Management. 

· API Policies: Develop and manage APIM policies for authentication, authorization, transformation, routing, throttling, caching, and error handling. 

· Security: Implement secure API access using OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, API keys, certificates, and Azure security services. 

· Integration: Integrate APIs with backend services, Azure services, applications, and third-party systems. 

· API Gateway: Configure API products, subscriptions, revisions, versions, named values, and related APIM components. 

· Monitoring & Troubleshooting: Monitor API performance, availability, errors, and usage, and investigate issues to maintain reliable service delivery. 

· CI/CD: Contribute to automated deployment and release processes for APIM configurations using appropriate DevOps practices. 

· Documentation: Maintain clear API specifications, technical documentation, configuration standards, and deployment procedures. 

· Collaboration: Liaise with developers, architects, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver API solutions. 

· Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to improve API performance, security, maintainability, and operational efficiency. 

Working Arrangements  

Remote; must be available during Australian Business Hours (AEST). Tools and equipment provided per company policy. 

 Remuneration & Incentives
