The Power BI Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining business intelligence and data visualization solutions using Microsoft Power BI. You will work within an Agile team to transform data into meaningful dashboards and reports, develop efficient data models and DAX measures, and collaborate with stakeholders to deliver accurate, scalable, and user-friendly analytics solutions that meet client requirements. 

Responsibilities: 

· BI Development: Design, develop, and maintain interactive Power BI reports, dashboards, and data visualizations. 

· Data Modeling: Build efficient semantic/data models using appropriate relationships, schemas, calculated columns, measures, and hierarchies. 

· DAX: Develop and optimize DAX measures and calculations to support business reporting and analytical requirements. 

· Data Transformation: Use Power Query and related tools to extract, cleanse, transform, and prepare data for reporting. 

· Data Integration: Connect Power BI to a range of data sources and work with data engineering teams to ensure reliable data availability. 

· Report Performance: Monitor and optimize report, model, and query performance to ensure responsive and cost-effective solutions. 

· Security: Implement appropriate Power BI security practices, including workspace access and row-level security where required. 

· Deployment & Governance: Support deployment, versioning, workspace management, refresh schedules, and Power BI governance practices. 

· Collaboration: Liaise with business stakeholders, data engineers, developers, and product managers to understand requirements and translate them into analytics solutions. 

· Documentation & Continuous Improvement: Document solutions and identify opportunities to improve reporting usability, data quality, automation, and analytics capabilities. 

Working Arrangements  

Remote; must be available during Australian Business Hours (AEST). Tools and equipment provided per company policy. 

Remuneration & Incentives 

• Remuneration and incentives commensurate with experience.
