Customer-Facing RPA Expert / Consultant

Location: Cebu or Manila, Philippines (Remote-first, aligned to Australian business hours – AEST)

The Role

The Customer-Facing RPA Expert / Consultant will work directly with clients to identify automation opportunities, design and implement Robotic Process Automation (RPA) solutions, and help organisations improve operational efficiency through digital transformation. You will combine technical RPA expertise with strong customer engagement skills to deliver practical automation solutions that create measurable business value.

Responsibilities:

• Work closely with clients to understand business processes and identify opportunities for automation.
• Design, develop, test, and deploy RPA solutions using platforms such as Power Automate / Power Automate Desktop (MANDATORY - with at least 3 years experience), n8n, UiPath, or Automation Anywhere.
• Build reusable automation components, workflows, integrations, and supporting processes.
• Conduct client workshops, demonstrations, discovery sessions, and training.
• Advise clients on automation strategy, governance, best practices, and opportunities for continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with C9's technical and delivery teams to ensure successful project delivery and customer outcomes.
• Document business processes, automation workflows, technical requirements, and solution designs.
• Troubleshoot and optimise automation solutions to ensure reliability, maintainability, and performance.
• Support clients throughout implementation and help drive adoption of automation solutions.

What We're Looking For

• 3+ years of experience working in RPA, automation, or digital transformation roles.
• Hands-on experience with one or more RPA platforms, such as:
• • Microsoft Power Automate Desktop
  • UiPath
  • Automation Anywhere
• Strong understanding of business process analysis and automation opportunities.
• Experience designing and developing end-to-end automation workflows.
• Understanding of APIs, integrations, data handling, and common enterprise applications.
• Strong ability to translate business requirements into practical technical solutions.
• Comfortable working directly with customers and non-technical stakeholders.
• Hands-on experience supporting automation solutions in production environments.

Project & Delivery Skills

• Experience working in Agile or structured project delivery environments.
• Strong client-facing and stakeholder management skills.
• Comfortable facilitating workshops, demonstrations, and technical discussions.
• Strong documentation and process-mapping capabilities.
• Able to manage multiple priorities while remaining accountable for delivery outcomes.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving capability.
• Proactive, self-directed, and comfortable working remotely.
• Able to explain technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong attention to detail with a practical, outcome-focused approach.

Bonus (Nice to Have)

• Experience with Microsoft Power Platform, including Power Automate, Power Apps, or Power BI.
• Experience integrating RPA solutions with APIs, databases, ERP, CRM, or other enterprise systems.
• Experience with cloud-based automation and Azure services.
• Exposure to automation governance, CoE (Centre of Excellence) frameworks, or enterprise RPA standards.
• Experience in consulting or multi-client delivery environments.
• Prior experience working with Australian or international clients.
